Who is Galileo?
Galileo is a modern medical group operating across all 50 states, designed to improve the quality and affordability of care for diverse and complex populations.
How do Galileo members receive care?
Once you submit a case in the Galileo app, our clinical team will respond to you by video or phone as soon as possible. Their response will appear within the case you've opened, and if your notifications are enabled, you'll receive a push notification when a new message from your doctor is available.

One exception to this is if your state legally requires a video visit to establish with a virtual care provider. In this case, our providers will send a link where you can schedule this brief initial visit at a time that works with your schedule.
What does Galileo treat?
Galileo treats a full spectrum of conditions, from Acne to Zenker’s Diverticulum.

Everyday care issues like prescription renewals, birth control selection, cold & flu, urinary tract infections, hair loss

Urgent care issues like persistent cough, headaches, fatigue, gastrointestinal issues, abdominal pain, bloating

Ongoing care issues like asthma, thyroid disorders, anemia, acid reflux, diabetes, anxiety, high cholesterol, high blood pressure
How does Galileo difference from insurance?
Galileo is not insurance. We are a health care provider that makes it easy for you to text or video chat with a team of board-certified clinicians 24/7 via mobile app.

In a traditional health care model, a provider offers medical services that may be paid for, partially or fully, by an insurer—most times, you cover the difference.

Galileo is the provider, and your membership covers the cost of all care that is conducted within the app.
What if I need to see someone in person?
Galileo provides referrals for specialist visits or labs. If you have insurance, we’ll refer in-network whenever possible.

By using Galileo to request a referral, you don’t need to schedule, wait for, and go to a doctor’s office to ask them to send you to a different doctor—instead, you can do this through your phone, saving you time and money.
